Chandel, May 22, 2026 (DIO): A Saturation and Health Camp was conducted today at Tampi village and nearby areas under Chakpikarong Block as part of the ongoing Information, Education and Communication (IEC) Campaign under “Janjatiya Garima Utsav 2026 – Jan Bhagidari Week (Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle).”
The programme was organised by the SDO/BDO of Chakpikarong with the participation of seven line departments. Around 320 villagers attended the event, along with officials from various government departments, 11 village chiefs, headmen, and members of Village Authorities.
During the campaign, awareness was created on several government welfare schemes and developmental programmes aimed at benefiting local communities.
The programme also included a Health Camp and a Transect Walk to promote public health awareness, community participation, and grassroots engagement.
As part of the initiative, the Autonomous District Council (ADC), Chandel distributed agricultural items to beneficiaries.
