THE Mizoram Council of Ministers has approved a proposal to adopt ‘Ro Min Relsak Ang Che’ , composed by renowned Mizo composer Rokunga (L), as the official state song of Mizoram. Manipur: Security Forces Recover Arms, Grenades in Maphou

THOUBAL, August 12, 2026: Security forces and police recovered a cache of arms, ammunition and explosives during a joint operation at Maphou Kuki Village on August 9, 2026. The operation was jointly conducted by personnel of the 8 Bihar Regiment and Thoubal Dam Police Station. During the operation, the team recovered two No. 36 hand grenades, one stun grenade and one 7.65 mm pistol along with its magazine. The recovery also included four live 7.65 mm rounds, one fired 7.65 mm cartridge case and one walkie-talkie with a charger. The recovered items were taken into custody for further investigation.
