Three Kuki/Zou girls & one boy rescued from Scam Call Centre in Laos by Indian Embassy (MEA), Laos

The Kuki Inpi Delhi, Zou Youth Org. Delhi & NCR, Kuki Students' Org. Delhi & NCR and Zou Sangnaupang Pawlpi, Delhi & NCR is pleased to state that on our request (based on complaints of relatives) the Indian Embassy in Laos with the help of Laos Govt. today rescued three Kuki/Zou girls & one boy (hailing from Manipur) from an alleged Scam Call Centre in Laos where they have been trapped for more than three months. They are:-
1. Mr. Haulungmuang Dopmul, Churachandpur District.
2. Ms. Lamchoihoi Kipgen, Kangpokpi District.
3. Ms. Caroline Lhingpihoi, Kangpokipi Dostrict
4. Ms. Daisy Chingdeilun, Churanchandpur District.

They were deceived and induced to the Laos Scam Call Centre by one Ms. Esther Nemneichong, an agent, originally from Thingkangphai Village, Churachandpur district, Manipur but living in Laos on Myanmar Passport.

We, the above said Kuki/Zou CSOs & Students' Organisations in Delhi & NCR express our sincere thanks and gratitude to Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India,  the Indian Embassy in Laos and Laos Govt. for their prompt action and a well planned rescue mission they had undertaken successfully despite the limited information and communications available.

our special thanks to Pu T. Armstrong Changsan, IFS, Jt. Secy. (PSP) & Chief Passport Officer, MEA, Govt. of India for his efforts and playing a great role in the rescue mission.

Meanwhile, we would also like to take this opportunity to warn and alert our people to "BEWARE" of the said doubtful and wily Scam Call Centre Agent - Ms. ESTHER NEMNEICHONG. Please do not trust her or any other such disguise/deceiver agents if you do not want to be trapped in same traumatized situation of the rescued girls & boy.
