Our collective hope is to one day return to our ancestral homes in Churachandpur.
We look forward to working together towards rebuilding and resettling in the place we've always called home.

KUKI students have finally stepped forward, announcing meetings across different areas. But what is this movement really about—is it a call for awareness, a civil initiative, or a genuine fight for change? Are we challenging the government, our own authoritarian leaders, or the militants who control our community?
At present, the term "People's Movement" feels more like a performance, a seminar possibly pushed by someone for their own interests. True people's movements are driven by the people themselves, like the Civil Rights Movement in the USA or the Anti-Apartheid struggle in South Africa—movements where ordinary citizens rose to demand justice and real change. In contrast, performative or fake movements often give the illusion of popular support but serve hidden agendas, distracting from the real issues and consolidating the power of elites.
The core challenge for the Kuki community lies within our own ranks— the SOO groups, dictatorial chiefs, and anti-democratic cultural practices that hold us back. Genuine progress will come only when we confront these internal struggles and take ownership of our own destiny.

CDF-KKG Major Operation in Sagaing Ramthen, Kalay Peng district on Wednesday morning.
CDF-KKG Major Operation led by CNA was launched in Campani, Kyantha, Hmandaw and Aunhthayar were captured by the Military unit
Campani, Hmandaw, Kyantha and East/North Aungthayar districts-ah Mipi ralkap lein 15 people lost their lives.
Kyantha Sakhaan was attacked by Military Allied soldiers on September 20 Two CDF-KKG soldiers were killed in the battle.

"Kuki-Zo Self-Governance: The Only Safe Bet for IDPs Resettlement"
The Kuki-Zo people demand autonomy in managing the resettlement of internally displaced persons (IDPs). Any plan or policy that undermines our capacity to care for our own will be met with resolute opposition. The Government's proposal to close relief camps by December 2025 without meaningful engagement is unacceptable.
A viable resettlement plan must be conceptualized and executed by the Kuki-Zo, for the Kuki-Zo. We require full agency in determining resource allocation and utilization. We urge the Government to step back, provide necessary support and resources, and let us manage our own affairs without interference.
Our people's dignity and well-being are non-negotiable. The era of paternalistic governance is over. We are capable and willing to ensure the successful resettlement of all Kuki-Zo's IDPs. Leave us alone.
Furthermore, the Kuki-Zo emphasizes that a separate administration is a prerequisite for the safe and dignified return of IDPs. We cannot stress enough that without a distinct administrative framework, the resettlement process will be fraught with risks and uncertainties. It is imperative that the Government recognizes and addresses this fundamental demand before any IDPs are expected to return.
The establishment of a separate administration is not a matter of preference but a necessity for ensuring the protection and welfare of our people. We will not compromise on this demand. The Government must take concrete steps to grant the Kuki-Zo the autonomy and administrative framework necessary for our people's well-being.

In the New Testament, we can see that the church is comprised of Jews and Gentiles, which means all are welcome, accepted, and permitted to worship freely with their God-given language. God is the Maker of every tribes and languages, and there is no particular language anointed nor superior tongue for worshipping God. God loves and understands Paite language as much as He loves and understands the language of Hmar, Thadou, Simte, Zou, Gangte, Mizo (Duhlian), English, Hindi, etc. For He is the Creator of them all.
Therefore, there is no people group that is more or less important in the eyes of God. For He loves them equally.
Some people often uphold their languages and their tribes too much at the cost of hating other's language or tribe, and even have the minds of intimidating or annihilating other languages, not knowing that they are also created by God. If this obsessive love for ourselves (or tribe/language) is above the message of Christ, it is wrong and is contradicted to the teaching of the Gospel of love. The greatest commandment is "to love God and to love our neighbors (others) as ourselves." So, our love for our own people, nation, or tribe should not surpass our love for the Lord and His teaching.
The Lord says, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you." So, let us put God and His kingdom above all our worries and wishes because He is the One who is in control. Or else, we will be like Saul of the New Testament, who devoutedly wasted time and made an effort to persecute Christians thinking and hoping to eradicated them, but who actually was kicking against the goad and resulted in persecuting Jesus Christ.
Our zeals and effort will still be futile by the end of the day, and we'll be against the will of God if we do not put the will of God first.

In Loving Memory of Khamlun (1971-2025) – Beloved Brother, Friend & Teacher
Our beloved brother, Khamzalun Taithul @ Khamlun, passed away at ZMC Hospital, Aizawl, after battling cancer, on 25 September 2025 at around 12:30 am. He left his home in Singngat around 1997 and journeyed to Aizawl, later moving to Zokhawthar (Champhai, Mizoram) on the Myanmar border. There, he served faithfully as a teacher in a mission school until his last breath. He was 54.
His body was laid to rest in Singngat Cemetery on 26 September 2025.
I had the privilege of working alongside him in the same school for a very short period. He was not only my friend but also my brother, and his absence leaves a deep void in my heart. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may we continue to cherish the love and kindness he shared with us all.
It's pain to say, "Good Bye.."
