Mysterious Woman’s Body Found Partly Eaten by Pigs in Delhi
New Delhi | July 3, 2011 – A horrifying discovery shocked residents of Vasant Vihar this afternoon when the decomposed body of a woman was found in an open area near Munirka and Priya, partially eaten by pigs, according to police reports.
The police were alerted by an anonymous caller around 2:00 PM. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the partially devoured remains of a woman in a heavily decomposed state, making identification nearly impossible.
The disturbing scene unfolded in a secluded stretch of land often ignored by passersby. By the time authorities arrived, stray pigs were feeding on the corpse, adding to the horror.
The body was immediately sent to the AIIMS mortuary for postmortem and possible identification. Police have launched an investigation and are appealing to the public for any information related to the deceased.
A senior police officer told KV News: “The body is in such a condition that we cannot yet determine the cause of death or her identity. Investigations are ongoing.”
