THE Zomi Revolutionary
Army (ZRA) condemned the inhuman and third degree tortured of its cadre
allegedly by Young Paite Association (YPA) and termed as “beyond any
stretchable stretch of any civilized imagination”.
According to the press
release on 23-01-2019 signed by Mr TK Mang Zomi, Joint Secretary, Ministry of
Information and Public Relations/ZRA, Mr B. Thanglungmuan Ngaihte s/o Late B. Tualkhanpau
Ngaihte, Canan Veng, New Lamka was kidnapped by Young Paite Association on the
night of January 22, 2019 at Vengnuam, New Lamka while he was on his way to
meet his acquaintance. “There is no justification at all, for whatsoever the
reason may be, to torture and detain till the evening of January 23, 2019 by a
philanthropist organisation”.
