The Gospel Centenary Celebration was held at Public Ground, Lamka on May 5-7, 2010. May 7 is observed as a Missionary Day by the Kuki-Zo people in Lamka, CCpur district.

L. KHAUKUAL (Old Khaukual), 

one of the oldest Thangkhal villages in Manipur, witnessed some of its villagers 
became Christian in the year 1943. 

 A Church was also built in 1947.
