UTC Pongal 2025: Celebrating Resistance and Resilience

THE Pongal Festival at UTC Bengaluru on 16 January 2025 was a heartfelt celebration, beginning with a devotional worship service that filled the air with reverence and gratitude. The celebration, themed “Pongal: A Celebration of Resistance and Resilience,” took place at the Library Lawn.

The spirit of togetherness soared as students participated in traditional games like Uriyadi and Kabaddi, bringing laughter and excitement to the day. The aroma of freshly made Pongal refreshments, rich and comforting, along with warm tea, delighted everyone’s senses.

The campus came alive with joy as students, filled with happiness, danced and jumped in unison, celebrating the beauty of the festival. The vibrant echoes of “Pongalo Pongal” resonated, and these precious moments will be cherished, sweet in memory, for many days to come.

The Pongal Fest was organised by the Tamil Fellowship. May God continue to bless the Tamil Fellowship abundantly.
