Lamka, Feb 2, 2025 – In a tragic accident, a 62-year-old man, Jamthong Guite from Sugnu Sokom, who was currently staying at the Sielmat relief camp, passed away. Despite being a small town, Lamka has seen a rise in road accident fatalities. Many residents have reported that rash and drunken driving are major causes of these accidents, according to a local resident speaking to KV News. The local administration and civil society organizations must take urgent action to curb reckless driving and protect public safety.
