TIM discussed about the futility of violence, loss of many precious lives and properties on both sides who are party to the violence, but also those who are not a party, especially Thadou tribe. A peace roadmap of Thadou Inpi Manipur was presented for lasting peace in Manipur concurrently highlighting the untold sufferings of Thadou tribal community who have been the most affected yet silenced victims of the tragic violence that broke out on May 3, 2023. TIM also stated its consistent position and efforts of Thadou tribe of Manipur for peace and non-violent resolutions to the present crisis.

TIM also stated the historical facts and the distinct identity of Thadou tribe. It was also reiterated and explained that Thadou is not Kuki, or underneath Kuki, or part of Kuki, but a separate, independent entity from Kuki. The atrocities and persecution of the Thadou people because of their Thadou identity at the hands of Kuki supremacist forces, especially the armed Kuki supremacist militant groups and their frontal civil organizations, for the last several decades were also highlighted.

During the meeting, highlight was also made about the critically important role played by the peace-loving Thadou community as peacemakers in the best interest and integrity of the community and our nation India. The role has been taken up despite threats of violence and death and actual lethal violent attacks from anti-peace groups and individuals, who are hell-bent on destroying Thadou identity.

Shri AK Mishra also spoke about peace efforts and steps taken up by the Government of India, while acknowledging the concerns of Thadou community and the distinct identity of Thadou tribal community. He also agreed about the prevailing misconceptions about Thadou being often mistaken as Kuki by many people due to ignorance or systematic disinformation. He expressed his deep appreciation and respect for Thadou identity and their stance, role and commitment of Thadou community and their leadership for peace and non-violent solutions.

It may also be mentioned here that the Thadou community, the largest tribe in Manipur, is an important stakeholder for lasting peace and solutions.

*Statement:* "Thadou is a distinct ethnic group of people. Thadou is not Kuki, or underneath Kuki, or part of Kuki, but a separate, independent entity from Kuki. Any organization that incorporates "Thadou" but espouses Kuki and mis-portrays Thadou as Kuki or a part of Kuki is illegitimate and does not represent Thadou people and interest" – Thadou Convention 2024.

The Meaning of "TODAY": A Path to Growth and Success

LIFE is a continuous journey of learning, improvement, and progress. Every new day presents us with an opportunity to become better than we were yesterday. The word "TODAY" can be beautifully defined as:

T = This is an

O = Opportunity to

D = Do

A = A work, better than

Y = Yesterday

This definition encapsulates the essence of growth, hard work, and perseverance. Let us explore this concept in greater depth and understand how embracing "TODAY" can transform our lives.

T = This is an

The word "This" refers to the present moment. The past is gone, and the future is uncertain, but today is real, tangible, and full of possibilities. Many people waste time regretting the past or worrying about the future, but the only thing we truly control is this very moment. The phrase "This is an" signifies that every day is a fresh start, a new chance to create something meaningful.

O = Opportunity to

Opportunities come and go, but those who recognize and seize them achieve great things in life. Every new day is a gift, offering countless opportunities—opportunities to learn, grow, work hard, love, and make a difference. Some people see challenges as obstacles, while others view them as opportunities for success. The way we perceive and utilize the opportunities presented to us defines our journey.

For example, students have the opportunity to study harder today than they did yesterday. Professionals can refine their skills and become better at their jobs. A person striving for self-improvement can use today to develop healthier habits. The possibilities are endless, but it depends on us to grab the opportunity and make the most of it.

D = Do

The word "Do" signifies action. Opportunities are useless unless acted upon. Success does not come from merely thinking about goals—it comes from doing the work necessary to achieve them.

Action is the key to progress. Many people dream of success, but only those who take action will see real results. Whether it is working towards career goals, improving personal relationships, or developing new skills, the only way to make progress is through action. As the saying goes, "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."

A = A Work, Better Than

Improvement is a continuous process. The phrase "A work, better than" reminds us that whatever we do today should be better than yesterday. This mindset pushes us toward growth and self-improvement.

A student who scored 70% in an exam should aim for 80% next time.

An athlete who ran 5 miles yesterday should try for 6 miles today.

A professional should strive to enhance productivity and efficiency each day.

Even small improvements every day lead to massive success over time. The Japanese philosophy of Kaizen (continuous improvement) aligns with this principle—improving just 1% each day leads to tremendous growth in the long run.

Y = Yesterday

The past serves as both a lesson and a motivation. Yesterday is important, not to dwell upon mistakes but to learn from them. If yesterday was good, today should be better. If yesterday was bad, today is the chance to fix it.

Comparing ourselves to others can lead to frustration, but comparing ourselves to our past self is the best way to measure progress. Success is not about being better than someone else; it is about being better than who we were yesterday.

Applying the "TODAY" Philosophy in Life

To truly embrace the definition of "TODAY," one must develop a mindset of growth, resilience, and gratitude. Here are a few ways to implement this philosophy in everyday life:

1. Start the Day with a Positive Mindset

Wake up with the determination to make the most of the day.

Avoid negative thoughts about the past or worries about the future.

2. Identify Opportunities for Improvement

Look at areas of life that need growth—career, relationships, health, education.

Set daily goals to make progress in these areas.

3. Take Action

Make a plan and execute it.

Avoid procrastination and stay committed to self-improvement.

4. Strive for Better Results Than Yesterday

Reflect on yesterday’s achievements and shortcomings.

Make necessary changes and push for better outcomes today.

5. Embrace Failures as Lessons

If today doesn’t go as planned, treat it as a learning experience.

Use failures to make smarter decisions tomorrow.

Conclusion

The definition of "TODAY" as "This is an opportunity to do a work better than yesterday" is a powerful reminder that life is all about continuous progress and improvement. By embracing this philosophy, we can make each day more meaningful, productive, and fulfilling.

Instead of regretting yesterday or worrying about tomorrow, we should focus on making today the best it can be. If we approach life with this mindset, success and happiness will naturally follow.

Who is the destroyer of Chin State?

There was no bloodstained fight between CNF/CNA-Hakha/Thantlang Army and ZRA-Zomi Army before the military takeover. Then, who is the one who created the problem to create conflict between the Chin brothers? Let's see.

ZRA EC
•ZRA didn't create a problem in Phnom Penh.
•ZRA didn't create a problem in Hakha region.
•ZRA didn't create a problem in Thantlang region.
•ZRA didn't create a problem in Matupi region.
•ZRA didn't create a problem in your military.
•ZRA didn't create a problem at the campground.
•ZRA didn't create a problem in the world.
ZRA က (Zotung-Zophei-Senthang-Daai-Mara-Lautu-Khumi-Lai-Cho-Asho etc.,) came in tribalism and not created in trouble.

•Then why CNF/CNA CC- Hakha/Thantlang troops are camped into Tedim and Tonzang townships and fighting ZRA? Why are CDF-Tribal armed organizations going to the land of ZRA attacking each other and killing each other? CNF/CNA CC-Hakha/Thantlang army invading each other's territories starting from each other. Look at the back story.

•In fact, the only armed organization that created various problems between brothers and relatives, Chin tribe and township conflict is CNF/CNA a.k.a 88 Chin Rebel Armed Organization. CNF/CNA is also the culprit who destroyed the unity of Chin State and Chin ethnicity.

•Any tribe or township living in Chin State is ours. Regional political, ethnic, social and ideological differences have been there since then.

Those differences of opinion should be resolved by the lucky people who live in our region. CNF/CNA CC doesn't have to be ashamed to solve it like a master style.

Action to solve it will be the same as encouraging the problem to grow. We were saying that we are a revolutionary group with Chin national level. Not only did you have been cruel to Chin people in the name of Chin Revolution over 36 years, but you are begging for NGO donor and doing politics under the name of Chin revolution.

Therefore, I urge CNF/CNA CC-Hakha/Thantlang troops not to invade other people's territory and create various problems.

I totally do not support any action that involves fighting and killing between brothers in arms until blood runs out. I will not continue to support it.

CNF/CNA should totally correct the "rebel characters" who have been brutally shooting and killing each other since '88.
