Muanna Rose | Thangkhal Film

Muanna Rose
(Love Story in Thangkhal/ Zogam Film Company)

"Muanna Rose" is a semi-true love story about a young couple deeply in love. The heroine and the hero were a perfect match — she was beautiful, and he was handsome. However, the heroine’s parents strongly disapproved of her lover and firmly opposed their relationship. This led to tensions, anger, frustration, and even physical clashes between the hero and those who tried to stop him. In the end, love wins — the hero overcomes all obstacles. And yes, there’s still much more to the story…

The festival is a time for gathering, sharing, and friendship after months of hard work in different places of employment.

The celebration featured cultural dances, singing, speeches and blessings. Young and old Zomis wore colourful and beautiful traditional clothing, adding charm to the event.
