Zomi Students' Federation Protests with Peaceful 12-Hour Shutdown
Date: 28/09/24
The 12-hour total shutdown in Lamka, called by the Zomi Students' Federation from 6am to 6pm, was executed peacefully without any disturbances. During this period, all commercial shops and establishments remained closed in solidarity with the protest.
The shutdown was organized in response to alleged false reports of 900 militants infiltrating from Myanmar, which the federation claims are being used as a pretext to target Zo-inhabited areas.
Furthermore, the alleged false reports aimed to divert attention from a leaked video tape of Chief Minister Biren Singh, which allegedly shows him as the mastermind behind the ongoing conflict in Manipur.

6. How is that you could pinpoint the date of the Kuki attack on the 28 th of September. Does an attacking Guerrilla party reveal the dates of their proposed attacks.
7.A 900 strong Guerrilla group is the equivalent of a Brigade of regular troops. How and when did they manage to slip by when the FMR has been removed and the Assam Rifles is supposedly guarding the borders.
8. Why has the Army authorities sought information from you on this reported invasion. Even as the Assam Rifles is under their operational command.
